Eco Factor: Yacht powered by an electric/diesel hybrid engine. Designed by Sanchit Gupta, Marija Jasinkaite and Celia Centonze, the Diamond yachts aim to make your cruise a sustainable one. Inspired by diamonds, the Diamond yacht is designed to be propelled by a diesel/electric engine, where electricity is gathered from solar panels mounted on the roof and the garage. The yacht’s external lines express the characteristics of diamonds with its structure and the style of different decks. The faceted hull and the transparency of the windows with the metal structure give the yacht a unique look. There are vast open spaces on the main and upper deck. A unique feature is the extendable garage that also serves as a shallow pool. The pool is equipped with two retractable lounge chairs which recline into the floor when not in use. To make the experience more thrilling, a bar is located on the main deck with a sitting area inspired by curves and cuts on a diamond. Eco sustainability is the concept behind the two SiShip Eco Prop engines, which are based on a diesel/electric hybrid propulsion system. It provides the yacht with four different types of configurations, which can be accessed according to the owner’s needs. The yacht is equipped with solar panels mounted on the

roof and the garage and a photovoltaic film in the glass structure accounts for the production of almost 27KW of clean energy. For the hull a special photovoltaic PhotonInside paint is used that also adds up to the production of energy. The upper deck structure is equipped with solar heating water panels. There are also numerous water recycling systems that clean the water taken from sea for washing and bathing purposes, while the other system cleans gray water for other non-potable uses. To encourage the interaction between the guests and nature, the upper and the main decks are designed with glass walls all around that gives an uninterrupted view of the scenic beauty around. The flooring in the exteriors is done with highly durable eco cork, which defines a social and relaxation area, offering a variety of seating and diamond inspired furnishings. The owner’s room contains pillars on the bed that are designed to give a royal effect, and enhancing this effect is a lounge and a small Jacuzzi inside the cabin.
